| On July 17, 2006, our
guest speaker was the outstanding Rev. Dr. Joseph
Roberts, who has retired after 32 years as pastor of the
famed Ebenezer Baptist Church - Atlanta. |

| On July 17, 2006,
installation services was held to dedicate a state
marker in honor of Mr. Louis Persley, the first licensed
black architect in Georgia, the designer of First AME
Church, and a Tuskegee University graduate. |

| Our own Dr. Moore
graduated August 5, 2006 with a PhD in Exercise Science.
She is currently doing a post-doctorate in research at
the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. She is the
daughter of James and Flossie Moore and sister of James
Moore, Jr. of Burkeville, Virginia. |

| The Aerobic and Health
Ministries held a highly successful health fair that
included a mammography van, various medical
practitioners and a comprehensive array of free
screenings. The BellSouth Pioneers retired corps lent a
helping hand too! Over 125 persons were served! |

| More than 300 members,
students and visitors experienced a very lively service
to celebrate the college enrollment of students at UGA,
Piedmont College, Gainesville College, Athens Technical
College and others. |
